Gased, I understand what you are saying, and we have been in agreement a lot lately, but I think you are overrating Cutler. His stats are hardly eye-popping esp when you consider the pass-happy era in which he played. He was also known as a stat padder...he would throw for 3-4 TDS against bad teams and then play like shit against really good teams. And as you noted, in spite of his enormous physical talent, he made only 1 pro bowl in his entire 12 year career which, given the proper context, is just sad and points to just how much of an underachiever he was. He finished his career with a fairly mediocre QB rating of 85.3, he was known for holding onto the ball too long and taking unnecessary sacks, he was a piss poor leader who routinely threw teammates and coaches under the bus when things werent going well, and he was notorious for throwing back breaking INTS and for wilting in pressure situations. So with all due respect, I think you are being far to kind to Jay Cutler esp when u say that you think the jets would have won a super bowl in 09 or 10 with him. Even if he had gotten them to the Super Bowl like Sanchez did those two years, he would have been going up against Brees and Rodgers and in a head-to-head matchup, there is nobody taking Cutler over those two esp with his pedigree of wilting/choking in big spots. I think if Cutler had been the Jets QB those two years, he would have put up better stats than Sanchez in the regular season, but would have definitely imploded at some point in the playoffs, throwing for 3-4 INTs in a game causing the Jets to lose before they reached the Super Bowl.
Cool. I look forward to it! I think Fields would like the MetLife Stadium turf so see if you can photoshop in a smile
haha I like Zach, but I do have to admit....he does look teeny-tiny in that pic, Legler....I hope we build one hell of an OL around him, because one serious hit from an NFL SS, LB or DL might break him.....
Oh good. You ignored everything that was refuted regarding Samari Rolle and concussions. As expected.
Why would he be the highest rated PFF passer after his first read if that is the case? He's not that nimble in terms of side to side athleticism especially because he's lazy with his sets. It's definitely an area for improvement.
I didn't at all. maybe read my replies 1st before making a statement like that? I already addressed all of that. you probably missed it between the 20 spam/gif/troll posts for every 1 good post. which is the issue some posters are causing here
He didn't turn out great by any means, but he was a solid starter for a decade and borderline top 10 many seasons. far from a bust and much better then young and lienart were for their careers. and much better then sanchez was
No, you didn't respond to the chart I sent over or anything regarding Samari Rolle unless I missed it. Send over your response again? Before I reposted the chart to reply to you, you posted a gibberish response about corners and runningbacks and offensive lineman having too many categories without any source.
For someone who takes offense to the word "retard" being used to describe politicians because of a family member being afflicted by a mental illness, you sure do like to rag on someone else's physical condition with no regard for how it affects people.
I don’t think so but if he did I would expect that to be handled by his personal doctors. Our trainers are only responsible for football related injuries like torn labrums, broken wrists and stuff like that.
