This is a classic example of why most of these conversations go left. @ouchy wrote: @Poeman infers: Even though the words are right there it still somehow turns into a terrible game of telephone. How the hell did we get from predetermining where he plans to throw pre-snap to “can’t read defenses”? Pre-snap recognition is part of reading defenses SMH
rumor is they are deciding between him and jones. that's all i've heard. SF is a mystery at this point other then we all know they are taking a QB we just don't know which one
it's not a force if you can make the throw. NFL is full of tight window throws. I don't think you know what a force is
Are you sure your response isn't anger that everyone isn't on their knees anointing our new savior? For added context, my comment was a prank as well.
I’ve made the same assertion so has Kurt Warner and JT O’Sullivan. He predetermines where he wants pre-snap and will go there regardless of what happens post snap.
I know what the force is. Its an energy field created by all living things, that binds them together. Use the force Zack. "Red Leader there seems to be a problem, you've switched off your targeting computer." "Its okay, I know what I'm doing."
Nobodies is on their knees. You might dislike Zach Wilson and wish all the worst I could not care. This is a sport forum and we usually argue about their talent and potential. For the record I have both Zach Wilson and Justin Fields as interchangeable. I really like Justin's potential and I think Zach's mentality will make him one of the best. Fields to me is kinda like Josh Allen (Physical freak with a canon) and Zach Wilson (perfectionist, obsessive to all the small details kind of QB) is more like Aaron Rodgers. Both are great QBs.
For the record I think they are both a reach at #2 and not trading down was an apocolyptic mistake. But hey, we all got our opinions. If we take Wilson he will be my avatar.
every QB has a predetermined pre snap read. the big thing is when that read is covered. wilson adjusts and progresses. fields takes off or gets sacked. that's the big difference on the 2 in the film and why I prefer wilson. if wilson really did that he'd have more sacks and more INTs. logically it makes no sense to say that. nothing backs it up
For the record, we all know you have probably mentioned 20 times. I do not think a WR or a TE or whatever will make the Jets a better team right now. And no I do not think all QBs are equal from year to year. I really like this QB class.
I don't see it at all. Cutler was stubborn and very individualistic. He had talent but he did his own way. Zach Wilson is way more coachable and will analyze all the things he can improve and did wrong to become better everyday.
