I’m still waiting for a response to my last post where I had to explain the point for you since you missed it the first time. Did you miss it or ignore it?

You only need one team to like you. Whoever that team or those teams are, they are staying quiet. The year Kansas City traded up up for Mahomes no one knew they were interested or even on the market for a QB. I prefer my FO act in that manner.

I heard that too, Noam. Everything I have read about the Niners is that they are focused on Lance and/or Jones, but Wilson was their true #1 all along, but Shanahan and Lynch were resigned to the fact that the Jets weren't budging from 2 because they were intent on taking Wilson themselves.

What is cutesy? Sounds like you have an issue with my posting style at times. What did I say in that post that's wrong?

Fields is now being analyzed by those such as Noam that you applauded as being a potential injury risk based on something that was just disproven. You think it was a great point.

I have not read the article which you posted regarding epilepsy. I will go back and do that, and if it changes my mind on the subject regarding Fields, I will post as much within this thread. I am not above admitting when I am wrong.

still think it jones. From what I read he has a photographic or near photographic memory. I think fields lack of processing speed currently is what is hurting him a lot. But i can't see picking lance of fields though

Just say "I don't have a well-researched response for the point you made" next time. It'll save you the effort of having to find a GIF.

Oh darn, now I don't get to see you miss the point and respond with something completely irrelevant that doesn't address the issues raised? Shit, my experience here is ruined.

lineman don't take blows to the head in the way QBs do. it's apples and oranges. so much so 1 company is making a lineman specific helmet because of it. lineman don't get concussions really. QBs, and WRs mostly do

I also brought up Samari Rolle and Tiki Barber. What’s the spin for those 2 examples?

Takes longer for you to competently respond to a question than it does for Justin Fields to make up his mind.

his film is really good so not a lot. He'll have to adjust to the speed of the game and how fast Dbs can close in the NFL. same goes for any college QB. outside of that it'll just be learning to play against more complex defenses which again every QB has to adjust for those 2 things. outside of that not much really. Only thing I can say is maybe learning to use the pocket when it collapses and climb it instead of breaking out of it

IF it is indeed true that Kyle Shanahan and the Niners aren't the least bit interested in Fields at 3, then I would humbly suggest that that is the biggest indictment of Fields, far more significant than anything any of his critics (of which I am obviously one) have said on this board, since obviously at the end of the day we are all merely fans. Shanahan and Lynch are generally regarded as one of the most talented/intelligent/potent HC/GM combos in the league...and Shanahan has a LEGIT reputation as an offensive guru/QB whisperer given his success with Cousins, Matt Ryan and Jimmy G.....so if he, himself, isn;t the least bit interested in Fields, then that might tell you everything you need to know about Fields potential as an NFL QB right there, since I dont think anyone on this board (myself included, along with NCJetsFan and CC, who are among the most knowledgeable posters on here) has as much knowledge or scouting acumen as Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch, esp when it comes to evaluating the QB position.

well in all fairness, Legler, Rolle was a cover first/tackle second type of CB and Tiki was a guy who was known for "shying away from contact and running out of bounds" every chance he got...and he did retire from the game prematurely.

From what I’ve read the biggest cause for a football player dealing with epilepsy to have seizures is not taking or having the proper mediation as opposed to playing the sport itself but I defer to the medical professionals on this board.
