So either way you look at it (both have it or both don’t); they canceled each other out. So on to the next topic.

That gif is actually funny though. As a Fields fan/apologist I’ll allow it.

Steve Young took years and years to develop after he looked like a bust with the bucks. He got rebuilt by Bill Walsh one of the best offensive minds of all time and Montana one of the best of all time. In the NFL we don’t have that kind of time. We just saw with Darnold and how the Bucks saw with Young if you don’t have good support around your QB he will fail.

It won't be long until you get to take your ball and go home. Have you decided on which Steelers jersey you are going to buy?

You categorized Wilson's "character concerns" as 1 of 3 "massive red flags" and then described Fields' "character concerns" as this:

Im not sure a single red flag exists for Fields. And thsts not meant as bias..just what i interpret Red flag to entail. There have been acouple whispers sbout his character. And thats a concern. For the sake of compromise call it a red flag.

You don't see the difference in framing there? Wilson's baseless character concerns are automatically one massive red flag while you're not even sure if Fields' baseless concerns qualify as a red flag at all.

Interesting for a guy who's constantly going on and on about cognitive dissonance.

I don’t pretend to be objective. I like Fields (see avi). I feel Zach will be overdrafted if picked at 2. Note that doesn’t mean I think he sucks or will bust. I also don’t subscribe to the Mike Maccagnan “any number of QBs will do” philosophy. I equate it to the motto if you have more than one QB then you have none. I believe you identify the QB you want and go get him. If Wilson is that guy for JD, I will support him like I did Darnold ONCE HE IS A JET!!! Until that’s official, he’s a prospect like all the other ones and will get the smoke if I deem it necessary.

Did you factor Chris Simms into your count though? Or is it message board only?

This is why I chuckle every time I hear the term “pro ready”.

You chuckle because Steve Young struggled 30 years ago on an awful team? How does that have anything to do with Zach Wilson?

  17. At this point i understand JD is taking Wilson. It may take me till autumn but will accept & support him. But being honest i dont believe in him being the answer.Further if he does fail will not be shy in my pouncing.Im usually quite diplomatic w who the team picks & try to see the good.Wilson is a rare exception fueled by preposterous hype.

Wilson supporters are where my anger lies. This is the last 48-72 hours of protest against the WORST pre draft buildup of my entire Jets fanship.

This is either too stupid or too intelligent for me to comprehend. Either way it’s beyond me. Whatever it is you are thinking, you’re right. I concede.

  19. 1 red flag vs 3 red flags.

Is that clear enough FRAMING for you?

How you gonna tear down this one? Is 3 not more than one?Or are they not red flags bc the Jets & joe douglas say so.I wonder what chris simms would say? On second thought no.God knows ya’ll love to hide behind links
