I have no idea - I can honestly say I have never seen this before. From the looks of the picture maybe the 80s?

As far as mascots go the closest thing I’ve seen in regards to the Jets was that little old war plane replica they used to fly or peddle around Shea back in the 70s I think. I don’t think it really flew ?

 

It’s from the ‘95 Pro Bowl in Honolulu. It’s a Hawaiian mascot promoting Jets merch.

It's funny, the other mascots have some sort of reference or meaning and the Jets one is just a guy wearing a Jets football uniform. This is the good grief Charlie Brown shit that you have to deal with as a Jets fan.

two questions...why the hell is the charger mascot a MOOSE??!!!! and in that cowboys mascot pic with the cheerleader....is that cheerleader former playboy playmate Angela Little, before she became a playmate? it certainly looks like her!
