Take the over you mean? With Fields I take Over. His game will translate well into NFL With Wilson I take Under. He will need some time to adjust to NFL imho.
Seems reasonable. I had in my mind 5-7 wins for this season. This is all contingent on our QB play though. If Wilson/Fields comes in and lights it up, maybe we’re looking at 7-9 wins. Side-note: glad to see the NFC West is projected to have a lot of good teams. Would be a real shame if Seattle slipped up and only won 6-7 games this year. A real shame.
That sounds realistic given that the AFC East is pretty tough now. The Jets have some big positives though. They have a group of good pass rushing lineman now. Their D is pretty tough on paper and they have a top-notch coaching staff now. In all likelihood they'll have a bunch of good rookies on offense after the draft, but they will still be rookies. Of course, that includes their new potential franchise QB. I can't watch the draft on the 29th b/c I'm going to a wedding. Oh well. I might be watching my phone during the ceremony. LOL
So according to Vegas, we are again a contender for the first overall pick next year. Are we really that bad after Gase left? I think/hope that we improve more dramatically for that reason alone, the Gase factor was a huge hindrance for us.
Jets won 2 games last year. The Jags won 1. So a 4 game improvement for us and a 5 game improvement for the Jags. The bookmakers weren't sure if the Panthers would win 2 more games or 3. Getting McCaffrey will be back will be big for them
Ya I was hoping JD would tell the Panthers to keep your draft picks, just give us McCaffrey and Sams all yours.
they both will. But I feel Wilson is a natural and has the better feel for passing. But we will see, I don’t think one QB would make a significant difference in wins like that either way.
not that Gase was good but I think a lot of Jets fans are going to be surprised when the Jets aren't suddenly good just because they dropped him
Plus we'll have a QB that resembles a mouse when he takes his helmet off. I mean if he was just ugly that would be one thing but this is something he can control and he still insists on making himself look like a mouse. Jets fans have been through enough without having to endure that.
This feels like a stay away for me. The number seems about right. I could see us winning 5-6 games assuming Wilson plays well. I wouldn't feel comfortable taking the over or under.
Giants at 7 is pretty interesting. They barely won 7 last year in the worst division of all time. They beat Dallas and Wash 3x last year, both of them are going to be infinitely better. I can't see the Giants reaching that number, even with the extra game this year.
