Well they have pretty much said “they are going that direction”. Lawrence has a larger body of work and has everything you are looking for in a FQB

Posturing without a purpose is just wasting time. I don’t believe JD is in the business of wasting time.

Very interesting indeed. He kind of implies Fields is his number 3 QB choice right now ahead of TL but no direct mention on the 1 and 2 ranking, but he seems to like Lance a bit.

If the Jags do not pick TL, I’ll be butt drunk within the few whatever minutes, 5 or ten, it takes to go to the second pick. The draft thread will explode here at TGG. Fifteen long days of speculation left.

Wonder what they are saying in the swamps or forums of Jacksonville Jaguars about all these QBs

In 2018 and 2019 perhaps, in 2020 no.

I'm legitimately shocked that he didn't even mention Fields.

No one in the NFL cares about some Football Unlocked guy's opinion on Trevor Lawrence. He is a great player and the clear top prospect. Lawrence is going #1 and Wilson is going #2. I guess it is hard for fans to just be patient until the draft, so talking and speculation will continue, but it is a done deal. Now the #3 pick really is interesting to me. I would go Fields. I keep hearing the 49ers like Jones. Lance would be a better pick than Jones to me. We will see.

You know I also think people like just disagreeing with others to keep things spicy. But I agree TDK, I think it's going the same way as you see it.

This is the new beat writer for NYDN who replaced that rat fucker Mehta.

Hopefully he doesn't get ruined by the obscene local papers. Let the guy be himself

True indeed. This is the final answer. Will know in three years. But will be more than just the QB, also the team he goes to.
