We’ve had mostly inferior physical/athletic rosters dating back decades. Yet somehow the players that many Jet fans gravitate towards & build consensus even after removing obvious red flags(Character/injury/off the field etc) are somehow never the best athlete or have the highest ceiling. This is no more apparent than the QB position. Its always the no nonsense drop back high completion % dink & dunk type that the fans want. The perceived safe pick.Who cares if their actually explosive or dynamic? Just take everything at face value,avoid projections & pretend like we’re smarter than everyone else. And then when it fails fire everybody,start over w a new QB. Ace in the pocket? Ahh the draft is a crapshoot anyway!
DUIs are for amateurs. Real pros run away from a field sobriety test and then smack face first into a stone wall. And then get drafted first overall.

I already said I gave the Wilson pick a 70% chance but that Douglas should keep his options open. I was all for Watson until that went in the can but I'd certainly listen if Russell Wilson popped up in the mix. That's why Douglas has no business telegraphing anything and people who are claiming that have gotten way ahead of the game.
I was rooting for Manziel to succeed so badly. It would've been sick to see him score and do the money Manziel celebration everytime. Too bad he was such a lazy dickhead off the field.

it's not telegraphing when your in the driver seat. is jax telegraphing the tlaw pick? eagles wanted to trade up for wilson, were gonna move to 3. JD has buddies in the org. after the wilson pro day they traded down because only QB they wanted was fields and knew jets were taking him at 2. then SF traded up to 3 to jump other QB needy teams for whoever their guy is which rumor is mac jones right now.
Nothing wrong with that. Been in this situation before during 2017 draft hoping for Mahomes/Watson. At least this time we are taking a QB, and I am sure both us will be hoping you were wrong once the selection is made.
