I like adams for a depth guy. same with ty. I would like to add another RB. I don't like perine at all. If we roll with ty and adams splitting carries for 2021 I wouldn't be upset though

We need a stud RB on this squad period. Those guys don’t cut it

That’s like the only example of a Shanahan offence without a bell cow and they didn’t have a rookie QB under center. Also their D was pretty darn good that led them to the majority of their wins

None of father's offenses had bell cows after Davis and they were routinely running for a thousand yards. Five years is a pretty valid sample size.

We had a bell cow for two years with crappy guard play and it did not work out well. Most bell cows are found in round two or three anyways. Look up the rushing leaders. There's like four first round picks in the top 50 from last year.

Also Terrell Davis was drafted in the 6th round.

2 of only 3 backs drafted in the second round or higher by a team running a Shanahan offense are the Broncos under Mike S drafting Clinton Portis and Tatum Bell on the second, who both played well a couple of years and then were traded for elite players on other teams, if you want to try making that argument.

The 3rd was AJ Green with the Packers 2020 2nd round pick even though he didn't fit the RB profile for the offense and flopped in his rookie year.

AJ Dillon - who for what it's worth I like but I agree he was a reach.

I like Harris a lot. He's a special talent and I wouldn't be upset if we took him. But I'm not sure it's the right move as far as asset allocation.

Bell was a bust coming off the couch.. old man Gore was better than him.. hardly a bell cow.. we need a kid with juice that can grow with Wilson and give him confidence back there. Not only that but defences won’t completely focus on Wilson in the backfield right off the hop. They need to deal with the threat of running the ball. That is so huge for the development of a rookie QB. Take the pressure off a bit, run the ball with play action will make Wilson’s development much more fluid

I don't think anything will help Wilson's confidence as much as a rock solid OL would. The Shanahan system thrives on taking any RB with good acceleration and making them look great.

They took AJ Dillon because he fit the Derrick Henry model LaFluer had on the Titans. He is buried behind Aaron Jones but I think he will get a lot more touches this year with the other Jones gone

exactly. we need to build the D up and go RBBC. the shanahan offense loves to have a deep group with no stars at RB and WR. thats why we went 4 deep at WR and RB in the offseason.

Ya that’s all good when you have a QB that’s won a SB and learned under the best ever. Not a rookie QB coming from BYU that hasn’t played with or against anyone...

Also Mostart is no slouch it was him then everyone else
