I've been saying for a while that the Jets need to take a TE in this draft. It's a big part of Shanahan's offense, we can't count on Herndon, Kroft is meh, Griffin should be cut, and Wesco is basically a blocking TE/Fullback. Freiermuth would be a great add. Hunter Long or Brevin Jordan would be good adds as well.

Those who follow the draft and want Wilson isn't just because of Chris Simms, he merely affirmed what we saw and liked about Wilson.
Why would he go with value at OG when we just ruined Sam because we had a shit OL, and we have mediocre OGs at the present. That would be dumb. You don't think JD will do that. That's what YOU want and what YOU would do. Thank God you're not the GM!
He is. He's a mismatch against DBs due to size, and against LBs because of speed. He is a very good blocker and receiver. He's not in Pitts' class, but then there have been very few who even approached Pitts' level of talent/ability.
Which I don't get. you can prefer one player but still see another as a good option. Like I like fields, wouldn't be unhappy with him, but wilson just looks better on film

He improved the o-line. It wasn't great last season, but it was decent. Darnold was terrible with or without good protection last season.
