If the Jets do not take a QB, this is the guy I want (trade down to 4?). He checks all the boxes at WR and will instantly improve our offense for whichever QB we go with.

    Pro Day:
    6' 201lbs
    4.38 40
    41" vert
    132" broad jump
    23 reps of 225lb bench
    Biletnikof winner as true Soph

By and large Jefferson was the #1 WR. Chase got most of his numbers as the #2, or at least covered by the #2 CB. Jefferson caught 27 more passes then Chase.

Chase is going to the lions.

@ouchy Jefferson caught more passes but Chase had more yards & TDs. That's like saying Wes Welker was the #1 WR in NE over Randy Moss.

ftr, I really like Justin Jefferson as well, but Chase is better imo.

Yep. Chase is the guy that made that offense tick. And it's not to say that Jefferson wasn't equally incredible but if you go back and watch the tape, Chase is the guy who opened the entire offense with his deep threat ability.

Jefferson operated a lot on deep overs and deep outs as the beneficiary to having no safety there.

It still scares me taking guys who were a full year away from football though. Him and Slater are the two guys I'd feel most comfortable taking though in those scenarios.

What matters is when they are both on the field who is the #1 corner usually going against.

I like Davonte Smith a bit better but Chase is going to be a stud. Chase reminds me of a bigger version of steve smith and Smith reminds me of a smaller version of AJ Green. It’s close really close
