Hmmm, it seems like "Top 10" has taken on a whole new meaning.

I think it was JD, Lafleur and assistant GM not passing game Coordinator but dont hold me to that just thought I read that on a tweet somewhere

Don't worry Brook we are picking Wilson. Stay away from OSU and USC QB's.

If JD doesn’t trade back for a bounty he might be batshit crazy / insane. dude stockpile picks for the next 5 years and get on with it.

I like Fields better too, but it doesn’t really matter. We don’t get paid to make these decisions and like most keyboard GMs on this board I know nothing about BYU football aside from a few games I watched this year.

What do I believe? Whomever the 49ers pick will be better than whomever the Jets pick. One franchise knows how to develop a QB the other does not.

I think a valid argument can be made for both situations. I've been a fan of the stockpile argument for a while, but Joe definitely capitalized on the Jamal Adams situation and created flexibility in case they do fall in love with the fit of one of these QBs early.

Both I think both can be done successfully and both can be screwed up.

I wouldn't discount the year Fields sat. He was still in the environment with the team, he still practiced with the team, played some, and was there absorbing the entire year, preparing to take a snap for every game. Just like Mahomes and Brady in NFL didn't play much first year, but still showed noticeable improvements the second year. So, the fact Fields (or Mac Jones) had less snaps and didn't play much first year does not tell me he has more potential to get better than someone like Zach. Perhaps you could make this argument for Lance, who is a year younger and actually missed entire season, which was cancelled, but for guys like Fields and Mac I just don't think it's even applicable.

If Wilson is a bust, will @Brook! ban anyone or only the Fields supporters under this pressure?

of course not but wilson could run our offense day 1 with his talent. fields cannot maybe over time he could.
If we draft fields it would be like what we did to sam all over. really wouldn't benefit him or the jets but time will tell

of course but if we can get some picks back for sam it's probably a good idea to take it

not really. niners don't really throw deep ever. it's a controlled timing based offense

landry was a 5 time pro bowler in his 1st 6 seasons. brown has only been in the league 2 years. you can't say he's better then landry right now. he has more to prove

Watched Brandon Marshall this morning talking about who the Jets should draft. I love the fact that he kept using the pronoun “we”. Even though he played for so many other teams, he stills sees himself as a Jet. That was cool.

It's only like that because of the limitations of Garoppolo. His work with the Falcons is much more indicative of what Shanahan wants to do with his offense and that's the reason they want to move on from Jimmy Screen Game so badly.

I would imagine LaFleur's offense wants the same thing.
