He was projected to be in the 4.30's as speed is seen as one of his plusses I guess you don't want to start off badly.
He thought coming out a 2nd time was the best thing to do but it has hit him hard, he is falling in the draft now, I know it is just a short and tee session but he looked bad today.
I saw his 40s he tweeted leading up to today..looked the same to me. 4.4 is very impressive for his size & position but quite honestly not all 40 runs are created equal..he doesnt look all that smooth or have much burst. If he gets his 3 cone sub 7.3 ill be impressed
These NFL Network guys are tap-dancing like crazy trying to hype up Mac Jones as he looks about as below-average as possible.
That is the thing with me. I use logic like that. Zach Wilson fits the offense. The tea leaves around the league believe he is headed to the Jets. It makes all the sense in the world and is highly likely to happen. That's fine. I am excited. I also like Justin Fields though. He has all the qualities you want in a QB for the 2021 NFL. The knocks on him are fixable, and if they are fixed, he could be unstoppable. He also potentially may never be able to process fast enough and never succeeds in the NFL. Still, it is a risk worth taking.
I'm definitely reading too much into it but at one point Shanahan had a look on his face like "we skipped Fields' pro day for this?".
He has to ask himself some serious questions if he has even traded up all those picks to potentially take Mac Jones
I feel for him really, it was commendable to come back out and go again, probably thought he didn't do himself justice the other day but it was a huge mistake.
"You think you are so good Zach? Well, check this out! Anything you can do, I can............uh..........ummmm...... uh...... well........"-Mac Jones
