I know his posting style and never get "worked up", but, today, I thought I would make an observation.

With over 7000 posts, don't you think people can see a trend in the style, tone, and acumen of a poster?

After all, it is you who said you can tell when a poster has knowledge. Is that not presumptuous of you?

So, you are saying the more a person posts, the less you know about them?

And are you saying you never once said a person has little or no football knowledge?

Because that would be the opposite of what I posted.

 

Now it makes sense.

 

Explain these:

 

SI is a shit magazine that kow tows to certain races and ethnicities.

 

I haven't noticed that at all.

 

he isnt saying anything, hes typing. its easy to misconstrue a persons tone through type.

 

i was getting SI for years, and each year i read the issues less. then i finally cancelled my subscription (i think) 2 or 3 years ago. i forget what the exact nature of the article that was the straw that broke the camels back was, but it was just that little something extra that i had noticed about the mag over the year or so before i stopped my script.

it may no longer hold those same beliefs, or connotations, but i would rather read sporting news and baseball digest, so it really doesnt matter anymore.

dude, anything can look one way when you take them out of context. im not saying he was or wasnt arguing, but not seeing the entire thread, the only angle you can take from them is that of angry or antagonistic. context context context.

if hes a dick, so what? its his right to be. THIS thread however got hijacked along the way to talking about SI and the biggest wenie genie "Dr Z".

 

If you want I can post links to the threads. He said he never judges a person by their posts.
