They won't be a back up if they came here though, well not if like some, you want to actually sit the rookie QB for a change to give him a chance to actually become good, rather than chuck him in the deep end with no swim aids.
I'm all for easing the rookie in. We'll never know if not doing so hurt Sam, but I wonder if he would've been better off sitting for the first half of the 2018 season and letting McCown start.
They also should've kept McCown in general. He was a good mentor type and they seemed to really like each other. Plus we missed a golden opportunity to see this again.
JD said he wouldn't make any decisions until after all the QB's pro days. Wilsons pro day is friday 1pm on nfl network. Jimmy G. Probably ends up in New England.
I was not aware he was a FA. I would assume JD would like this move. Young, played under a familiar offensive system and was one of the uprising underrated QB in that draft class. While he hasn’t played much games, question is is this the guy you rely on to assist and back up a rookie QB? I think he would be a good pick up.
He sat at the end of the season because he was hurt as usual. Then he sat when he had Mono. That is not the reason Sam is still struggling.
Perine looked pedestrian to me when he got on field last year. I know 4th rounder, but I too saw no burst. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’m not big into rumours but I thought I’ll post it for my guys on here to dissect. Zach Wilson for Mack + 1st 2021 + 1st 2022 JD apparently trying to set up Pace for a heist do we do this?
From what I heard on Sirius we would stick with sam and take on Mack + 2 1s I don’t know... it’s a big haul but Sam sucks.. it’s hard.. but we’d have 3 1s next year to grab a qb
