Yeah, best estimates are he's worth around $100 million. I think he was named Texas Trial Lawyer of the Year a couple years ago. He's very involved in Republican politics in the state. He was the defense attorney for Rick Perry (the governor) at one point.
Kraft has more power, Did it in an actual parlor with no record of anything other then footage, which he had destroyed. Nobody has seen the footage and never will. Watson has DMs on instagram already out there with likely more to come
Part Tebow, Part D-bag = Tea bag. (Actually, it refers to a part of the male anatomy being placed on someone's face like a moist tea bag (often while the person is passed out drunk). I just think it's a shame that we never referred to him as Tim Tebag while he was here.)
Heard this was actually Quincy Avery, Watson's personal QB coach. Buzbee mistakenly thought he worked for the Texans.
Jonathan, I am an attorney myself, so I am not saying "all lawyers are scumbags." Personally, I find the while "lawyer joke" thing tacky and cliche/done to death. So please don't think that my post implied that any and all successful attorneys are "automatically scumbags/sleazeballs." My point was limited to the attorneys like Michael Avenetti and Jose Baez who are more concerned with fame and money than with anything else AND who also are vastly overhyped, mainly by themselves and their PR people. I couldn't care less whether they win some of their cases or not...only a wholly incompetent attorney would lose most or all of his cases.
I'm backing away from the notion the Texans were involved. Watson's situation now means that the Texans are likely to never get anything from him and it will be hard to recover the money they already gave him. Not impossible but hard.
Wow....thanks for the info, Unhappy. So the mere fact that he is the attorney associated with these allegations lends them a modicum of credibility.
Bob went to a respected establishment known for top notch happy end massages supplied by a reliable sex trafficking chain. Deshaun was a bit less sophisticated in his approach by using Instagram.
The NFL is a gentleman's club. If the Texans had traded Watson and then done this it would have cost the McNairs the franchise. You can do all sorts of things to win games and get away with it but you can't dick around with other members. Ever. That's grounds for getting expelled from the club.
Not insulted at all buddy. Just pointing out that unfortunately the sleezy looking ones with Ferrari's also end up being very good ones. Keep on rocking.
Good point. But why didn't they trade him and then not do this? These reports coming out have only hurt the Texans. And assuming they knew before 2021, then their motives aren't to help the women get justice because if that were the case, they would have released the reports a long time ago.
I wonder what words of wisdom Rich Dad would have for losing your newfound wealth to a couple dozen plaintiffs in a single court case.
I don't think the Texans did this. I could be wrong but this feels more like a local lawyer saw a case he thought he could settle quickly and then a bunch more people hopped on top when Watson said no and the case leaked to the public. I think the Texans are one of the injured parties here, maybe only topped by Watson at this point.
