Bucks. Nobody has money to spend so they were kicking the tires on the second-tier guys seeing if they could get bargains. A bunch of the top names haven't gotten any real offers at all because very few teams can afford to splurge this year. I half suspect the TV deal was announced right now to keep dozens of NFL free agents from committing suicide.
Fuller had a big off-year last year which is why he was the cap cut. He's 29 this year and when you're 29 and you have an off-year in the NFL it means something.
That's fine. We didn't really need to sign him because of the Cole move. I suspect the Jets will try to find a burner in the draft.
Or we cut Crowder and sign a guy like Juju. Hard to believe we keep Crowder when Cole and him play the exact same role
I hope we get fuller, or at least we ought to. Even if it’s a 1 year deal, we need bodies-competent ones! Also, and I love Crowder, but if we can move him (for literally anything) and bring in ju-ju, we have tk do it.
Well, I guess this is Ashton Davis/Maye ins.. Btw, I wonder if we are hoping to trade down and grab Sewell? Can’t Fant play guard, or hasn’t he at least? Would kinda explain us not spending on the OL..well that and this being a relatively weak class -sans the big 3
We have like 23 openings due to free agency, so JD should be signing a lot of 1 yr 2 million dollar players We have the money to trump almost anybody
Idk..I know Davis and the DE got long term deals..but this offseason has-at least to me- a similar “low risk” mindset like last year. I hope it turns out better than last years class
Kyle Fuller is one of the few exceptions I'd make in paying some money for an older player. He's a stud.
I like today’s signings except I think JD could have done better with a G unless he s building depth. Like Cole and Joyner. No doubt JD s picking up a CB or 2 in FA. Pick up another pass rushing specialist and grab vet QB in FA. Assume JD keeps his draft picks as is, go get a QB, TE, RB, OL, CB with the first 5 picks.
