None ever really existed. Nobody was going to get in a bidding war over such a meek QB with no accuracy or ability to read a defense or make intelligent decisions with the football. We are not getting much for him
I agree that getting a RB in the draft is the best way for us to go. But on the other side, when was the last tie we drafted a great long term RB - Freemen McNeil?
no it doesnt mean agee with me at all. it means stop making ridiculous points. You think a dance derailed an 11-0 season.
I was always surprised at the published thought that Sam could get even a 2nd round pick, as I am very down on him after three years and didn't think he'd be worth much of anything in a trade. However, Trubisky is three years older AND played for a playoff team. Those optics significantly curtail any "untapped ceiling" projection that evaluators seek when trying to figure out the future worth of an underachieving, great pedigreed QB.
They went 0-3 during his dance antics - including losing to 2 last place teams. Giving teams added fire to beat you is plain stupid. Then he runs his mouth about the Browns before the playoffs. Same thing. Yes, these things have a large impact. What don't you get about that?
The guy has great talent and we lack it. Sometimes talent has warts...get him and work on him to cut this stuff out but he's worth the shot
I still would. It's a talent rich WR draft. Give me depth and give me talent at such a vital NFL position. I don't ever want to see the days of David Nelson and Chaz Schilens again. Plus these guys do get hurt..
Love it. Agree completely. BTW, Saleh biggest trait is motivation and team effort. I'm confident he and the OC will keep him completely focused on the job, to be the best he can be. He will be told right up front to do the dancing in the end zone after a TD and help the QB grow to be a star. To me, this move could be equivalent to Brandon Marshall, which did nothing but good for us and resurrected the WR corps. It could also free up the TE and Mims from double coverage. Lets face it, last year was a bit off for him, but in 2019 he was a star. If someone said he would be a Jet back then people would think you are nuts as hell.
Would have been a great guy to get on a one year prove it deal. Never thought he would do it here but it sucks pretty badly that he’s doing it in Miami. And now everyone will connect the dots to Watson…
He is always banged up and the one monster year he had and was healthy he was juiced up. Not that worried about them signing him.
Fuller going to Miami means we really need to seal the deal with Juju. That or they knew we are signing JuJu and needed a fallback
