I wish we could have a HC that lost the team and they still went 12-4.

This is a good point NC.

Its time we get a little realistic in our optimism.

Yes, its is great to not have Gase and (insert failed GM) here. That was practically the bottom. We have a need to be optimistic.

But JD is still a first time GM. We kind of like what we have seen so far so lets keep hoping. Still a lot of questions though.

However, we have no proven reason yet to think Selah is a good HC. We can only hope.

Lets remember that before Gase we hired two great DCs as rookie HCs. And they were great DCs, and each with a unique set of skills. But as rookie HCs they didn't pan out. Hopefully JD making better moves will help our new HC. Yet, here we go again with a DC's first coaching stint.

We cant say "oh we have a great HC", or "Selah will fix this or that" yet. We still don't know. Were still at the hope stage.

I don't want JuJu. I would rather we trade #23 & move up in the draft to get either Pitts, Waddle, or that Minnesota WR who might be available at 23.

Drake to the Raiders. I think Carson or Lindsay to the Jets makes sense. I like Ty Johnson and Perine, Adams is okay, but the position can be upgraded.

Now that the NYJ beat writers and fans have spent the better part of a day talking about Juju, it's a near certainty that he re-signs with the Steelers or signs with some other team that hasn't been mentioned in connection with him.

The upgrade can be found in the draft at a fraction of the cost.

This is Joe Douglas' response to any position talked about in Free Agency. :D

You are right though. Definitely an option in the draft.

I dont think Phillip Lindsay is all that good.

If he wants to come cheap then sure but you could draft a guy better than him. Its another example of fantasy football clouding people's judgement. Hes a dime a dozen guy but everyone had him as their fantasy sleeper 2 years ago so now they think hes better than that

Dime a dozen guys don’t rush for over 1,000 yards in each of their first two seasons. He’d be a nice option, not a game changer. But let’s not pretend he’s any old guy.

Oh yea. I’ve always liked Tomlin the coach but it’s clear that he’s got some holes in his coaching style. I really think Ben had a stranglehold on that whole organization.

That article was before the start of the 2018 season. Its 3 seasons old. Guys that lose the locker room dont have the success Tomiln has.

Sam trade market might as well be dead. I hope JD didn’t fuck this up.

I don't like going into the draft knowing we have to draft a RB. Rather fill holes with available capable players before the draft so we aren't handcuffed to a RB in the draft.

Sam's trade market was dead when they watched one game of him starting.

I understand that, but there are so many good RBs in the draft, we could literally take one anywhere between rounds 1-5, maybe even round 6. We have 9 draft picks. If JD can't find a RB who will fit our offense in this draft, then he's not the right man for the job.

I do hope they get JuJu and keep Crowder. That's a damn good receiving corp and you need one to win in the NFL.

Giants with a stupid signing of Rudolph. He's at the end of the line. Waste. Hollister would've made more sense for them. Even Eifert
