PFT says there are teams that are having trouble coming up with the raw cash in hand necessary to make a big splash in free agency. Teams with a ton of cap space (which is just a license from the NFL to spend your own money) don't have the cash. Owners were killed in 2020 with empty stadiums yet were forced to pay players 100% of their contracts. Owners with outside interests like Bob Kraft and Jerry Jones won't have an issue, but teams that are family owned for generations without a large outside source of income are struggling. I assume some teams are deferring ANY new contracts to 2021 when things get back to normal.
Men I'm getting worried I thought we would of heard about some guys who don't deserve the contract their currently on being cut already. I think 4pm is the deadline hoping it just hasn't been relayed yet. I honestly don't think Lewis or Griffin should be on this team next year at their price pt and production level, maybe even Van Roten 4m I think could be saved.
Those poor billionaires. In any event, this is why every good team is restructuring a boat load of deals like the Rams and Chiefs just did. And you can usually only do so when the players are homegrown outside of Ramsey doing it for the Rams.

they may have over paid them but as you pointed out they are younger. They are quickly rebuilding and making them a tough foe in AFC East. They did themselves a huge favor and put themselves in a better position for drafting a QB. It remains to be seen whether these guys will continue to exceed, but credit the Patriots, it quickly improve their offense tremendously. Uh

Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes, Watson in no particular order. Russ would be 5 in my list. 3 of them have actually WON an MVP award. If Watson wasn't on a horrendous football team he would've had a really strong case for an MVP in 2020 with how good he was.
