Joe Douglas seems like a "line in the sand" kind of guy. He sets his price. If he gets outbid, he moves on. I think I prefer that than overpaying, but it means you miss out on quality players too.
There's been like 8/100 free agents signed. Oh noooooooooooooo. We didn't get the three guys everyone wanted that would've pushed us over the SB hump.
You got anything more recent or are you operating on intuition? The only things I've read are no negotiations happened as recently as 3 weeks ago.
Also prevents you from getting used by agents/players to drive up the price while you get left at the altar.
I'm going off the reports from the green bay media the past couple of weeks and the fact that they just got under the cap last night, ($9 million top 51) still need to clear more space for full roster including around $10 million for draft pool.
Glad Yannick is off the radar now. Wonder how much the raiders paid him Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
Why do we want to trade Mosely unless it’s for a mid round pick which I can’t see us getting? Id rather roll the dice that he’s back to his usual self than sell him for peanuts
Doubt anyone would take him next year with his $22m. I think that's where we are trying to get out from
That feels almost reasonable. Especially as the big numbers always come out when first reported. If that's the case. I wonder why the ravens didn't up him. Also can't wait for the patriots to sign Nelson Agholor. I'm sure the AFC East is trembling at the idea he's now in out Div. Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
I much prefer that over the GM who signs anyone at any price but there's a middle ground that's preferable to both. I just don't see how we hope to improve our IOL significantly solely through the draft. Are we really going to bring in another rookie QB to play behind a mediocre OL?
