This is a hockey team that just isn't ready to compete with the big dogs yet in an absolute road grinder of a division, especially not with Shesterkin or Panarin.
Things fell the wrong way for the Rangers last night. I watched some of the game, and felt they played pretty well. Looks like a typical 4-2 Pens win, but it was much closer and the Rangers played better than them for a lot of the game. I wish they would have shot more. Felt like they kept making one too many passes, making the saves a little easier for Jarry. The short handed goal killed them too.
Now we just need the team to gel. Too much talent there for the kind of nonsense we've seen at times this year. I think that's on the coach.
I'm a really big fan of our Laf -- Zib -- Buch line, Zib just needs to get going. He's had very nice shot opportunities, they just aren't going in for him. If Zib gets going this team can make a run for that 4th spot in the east.

That was such a tough loss last night; no excuses for losing that. Rangers had almost 4 minutes of puck possession in OT and LOST. Ughhhh
