I’m not going to lie, with Joe and Saleh I’m definitely excited, where as before i was just hopeful. I still want to see it on the field though, tired of winning a trophy for off season moves that don’t translate to wins on the field.
I’m excited for sure. I can see a slew of veteran defensive players being added for Saleh. Pass rush will be the big priority and finding out what’s going on with CJ
My excitement is on level 100000. Moreso because the offensive system I know that’s coming will be featuring getting a RB who has speed. The Jets have Ty Johnson on the roster but who knows what this new staff thinks of him. They may look to tackle that in the later rounds of the draft. The offensive line I’m sure will get upgraded, mostly the interior. of course the main question is if Sam is the answer. I’d jump for joy for Watson, I’d be elated for Zach Wilson and I’d simply trust if Sam is here mostly because I oddly trust the coaches here now. It’s odd and I shouldn’t blindly do this, but the excitement is here. The massive amount of picks, money...I’m fully expecting a new group of edge rushers to attack the edge, a new GOOD WR who can come in and compliment Mims and Crowder, 1 or 2 corners who’d fit the cover 3 scheme and numerous depth signings. I’d probably pop over some ST like signings because it’s not Gase coaching them up lol.
For us Jets fans this is the best time of the year! First some FA, followed by the draft, and wrap it up with some TC. Then t's all down hill when the season starts. ☹️ Let's hope 2021 is different.
You don’t think Bryce Hall can make it as a number one CB? I believe he can definitely grow in the new scheme they will be using, he already showed how fast he can adjust to the NFL game.
i think he has the instincts to be a top CB honestly. I’m moreso worried about Bless and that other side. I feel like grabbing a vet corner would be a good move here.
I look forward to missing out on most impact players, then being told not to overreact then watching people bitch in 6 months about how we shopped at the bargain bin and this offseason needs to be different.
By the time the season starts, he'll have not played an NFL snap in almost TWO years. I wouldn't count on him playing like he did in the first 3 quarters of the Buffalo game.
