I feel this year will be the exception to that rule since so many teams have QB on their minds. However, there is a lot of other great players who I would love to have that should be top ten picks other than QB. This very well could push those two players down the draft and you would be right about where they end up. To me, it makes no difference if I'm wrong about this one since I'm locked in on Wilson at #2. I would like both those QBs to go before #23 since it pushes players we may want to our position in the draft. So hopefully I'm right and you're wrong. LOL GMs do dumb shit every year, and this draft is going to be tougher than all the others because of the flu. It should be an interesting draft no matter what. I only care about us anyway. Having said that, watch both QBs go 24 and 25.
Comical how 'knowledgeable fans' think over the next 3 seasons Sam will be the absolute worst QB in the NFL while Zack Wilson will become the absolute, hands down FQB we've been seeking for so long. When in reality the odds are probably in Sam's favor to outplay Zack over the next 3 years wherever Sam goes next.
or not apparently, as the agent knows everything and isn't kicking up a stink, so Sam is our QB next year. Glad it is all settled and I can stop fretting about it now. Right on to the subject of how much can we get for trading the #2 so somebody can draft the next Mahomes.
I'm not a particular fan of Wilson and I don't hate Sam at all but really? Sam would have to show vast improvement over his next 3 seasons to match, hmm let;'s use Herbert as an example of a new QB that wasn't even meant to be ready to start and playing in a shit team. How close did Sam's numbers match Herberts, hell, Sam hasn't even beaten Minshew ffs https://www.espn.com/nfl/qbr I know it is just one thing but bang last, how hard would it be to beat that? Come on guy, you are seriously in danger of just being a flat out wum, you throw in a couple of agreeable posts then slap mad shit out randomly.
Lmao, you're relentless with the bad takes. We don't know how Sam will play the next 3 years, but all of the evidence we do have leads us to believe he will probably play very poorly. Also, no one is saying Wilson is 100% going to be a star, we're saying that the evidence we do have on him indicates he will likely be pretty good. Maybe he won't, sure, but we have a lot of reason to think he'll be good. What's with the absolutes? Are you incapable of thinking probabilistically?
He played a much bigger role in butt fumble though than making play-offs. Fumbling the ball while running into the teammate's anus, these were the days.
I'm sorry....I thought Zack Wilson is still a college QB who's never thrown a single pass in the NFL. I didn't know he's already as good as Herbert. My bad.
Yes, but he's righ, imo. Probably somewhere between 1/2 and 3/4 of the fanbase doesn't want Sam back. We want a new QB. If fans could have attended games this past season both Gase and Sam probably would have been booed off the field.
Here's the thing...It's not enough for Zack to come in and play well. It's equally important that Sam continues to play poorly, wherever he goes. Because if Sam goes on to become really good, then we've essentially wasted the #2 pick. Right?
