Yeah, that makes sense. I think watching them all in a row for the first time, with no prior knowledge of the first one, allowed me to enjoy the second one more than others did at the time. Watching the first one I was trying to figure things out and get to know the characters. By Part II, I was on a roll and maybe that is why I liked it more. Glad I watched them. I just never seemed to get around to it. 2020 was terrible, but I did watch some great movies I had never seen before like The Shawshank Redemption and Back to the Future.

    The first one sucked too.

As someone else said Gadot has legs for days.

I recently watched a few Sci Fi movies on Netflix.

Prospect - futuristic film about, you guessed it, prospecting on a planet with a poisonous atmosphere. the characters are a little dry, and the motives seem to fluctuate, but I thought the world building they did was pretty cool. I was pleasantly suprised.

Freaks - B movie all the way. No surprises in this movie about people with powers who are hunted by society. The powers are pretty cool and you get what you came for.

Monsters: Dark Continent - a sequel to the 2010 film Monsters. Not sure who asked for a sequel... this movie got destroyed in reviews, but i actually was really into it after the mid way point. The first half though is pretty awful, but it makes a 180. The cinematography is what makes it watchable, its really good.

3022 - stranded in space, trust no one. Little too slow paced and boring for my taste.

After seeing an extended trailer for the new Batman movie, I am definitely not buying Robert Pattinson as a young Bruce Wayne. I kept thinking he was supposed to be the Joker with that pre-pubescent-looking weasel face. He also resembled what might be Eric Draven in one of the 50 sequels of the Crow.

"We live in a society where honor is a distant memory.... Isn't that right, Batman?"

Pretty cool trailer. My expectations are low, but it could be alright.

DC's answer to the MCU making a killer series of movies is to saturate the market with as many versions of the same played-out handful of characters as they possibly can.

True, but I wouldn't count those CW shows though. There are like 10 of them and I am not sure who even watches.

DC has definitely handled their film universe poorly. Truly disappointing. Rushing something just to copy and keep up with competition is a terrible strategy.

You just nailed the second biggest issue that DC faces behind the fact that they're trying to make all of their characters and movies dopey and funny like Marvel when they should be dark. And that is that they have done an atrocious job in developing any characters other than the usual three.

They also have a distinct advantage of much better villains that they botched in trying to make them funny in Suicide Squad and didn't take full advantage of in any of the other movies.

Looks like Disney wanted to make their own version of "Joker". The question is: Why?

All the Vacation movies are worth watching. One of the few roles that Chevy Chase grabbed and ran with mainly because it just asked him to be goofy - which he can handle.

Just saw freaky starring vince vaughn last night. It was a very fun movie. Highly recommend if you like comedy horror films.

I have never been much of a Chevy Chase fan but his Pierce Hawthorne character in Community is the first role I ever saw him in that I stopped being very aware that I was watching Chevy Chase. He did a good job although I think the writing on that show did most of the heavy lifting.

I'll have to check Community out. I've waited a long time for Chevy Chase to actually act.

It took Kevin Costner like two decades to finally not be Kevin Costner but when he did he was amazing. 3000 Miles to Graceland was the film and it also starred Kurt Russell in a great role so definitely worth your time.

Loved 3000 Miles to Graceland. I don't hate Costner as much as most people but he definitely has his limitations. He's good in The Highwaymen as well.

Community is pretty slapsticky so don't expect a huge departure from your standard Chevy Chase, but he plays a demented rich racist old man and does it well.

If you do end up watching it, beware of season 4, that's when the creator was fired and the writing went into the tank, but it's half the length of the previous seasons so you can either trudge through it or skip it altogether and neither makes a big difference. They rehired him in season 5 and the show pretty much picks up where it left off, writing
    -wise.

Just rewatched Blazing Saddles for probably the 10th time. Absolute classic that could never be made today.

A couple cuties on it, but it's pretty meta. A lot of what i heard is either people love it or hate it.
