I've been here! My ban was removed the same day it was put on. Just been busy with life lately. We just found out we are having a second child!
Okay, but let's remember that the NBC site which debunks the Watson-Carolina trade scenario is also part of the "sports media." The larger point, I think, is that we should approach all sports rumors (and, indeed, all media and social media reports) with skepticism and look to weigh their validity against opposing points of view.
By the way, I think all these trade scenarios involving Watson for other teams neglect the fact that Houston will want to ensure they get a replacement franchise quarterterback in return if they trade Watson. Can they be sure to get one with Carolina's pick (#8) or Denver's pick (#9)? It seems much more likely that they will think they can get a replacement franchise quarterback with our #2.
Congratulations! Now, be a responsible parent and remove all Jets paraphernalia from his surroundings!
I got a chuckle out of this thank you. I have two kids and the Jets are the last thing I will ever force on them. When they get older and they decide to jump on the train then that's on them.
This borders on child abuse! My son - who turned 43 today - unfortunately was exposed to the incurable Jets Virus by me when he was a baby. Fortunately my daughter loves soccer and hates football. Anyway, good luck and health for you and your growing family!
Maybe she can grow up when the team is contending for Lombardi Trophies. Congrats on the arriving child.
If Watson is traded, he will come with a team friendly contract and very little guaranteed money. Deshaun Watson's contract is another reason to trade for him.
True enough, but I was referring more to how the national shows (espn Get Up, First take, ATH) pick up the piece and run with it as if it was real news. The reporter literally made up this deal under the premise that is was a wild idea and somehow our national sports media shows open with it as if there is an ounce of validity to it. That's not only ridiculous, it's irresponsible "journalism".
