I was just able to make appointments for the vaccine at Walgreens. A number of stores in the area had availability beginning Monday morning. It appears it will be the Moderna vaccine because 28 days between doses was required. My confirmation was time stamped at 12:01 AM so I probably accessed the website just before midnight and it appeared that a slot was open every fifteen minutes during the day so I believe the appointments had just been populated on the website. Therefore if anyone is interested I'd suggest checking just before midnight and rechecking just after. I can no longer access the appointment schedule to verify how fast they are going as the cookies recognize me. Good luck!
Weird, I thought I was in the micro minority but see a few people thinking this way.. My industry has been shut down for almost year now. I was already a slight germaphobe and following protocol was easy for me as most of the hand and touching stuff I already practised. I've gotten into arguments about touching food and washing hands w/ several people over the years and already knew who was gonna fukin die...lol Kidding there of course but Wifey already knew I was going full breakout defcon 5. So far, we've been good. I'm waiting because well, it isn't my turn and seeing people lying, pay for and steal vaccines should be a mandatory jail sentence! ftr, I'm not feeling the J&J. Yeah, One shot? Nah... you lost me at talcum powder cancer cover-up. So also waiting, still distancing, wiping and washing vigilantly then we'll choose our course of action. Science over Bullshit.

just got the 2nd vaccine on Friday. No real side effects, though where I got the shot is more sore than when I got the 1st one. I got the Pfizer
Do you know anything about the Johnson and Johnson vaccine? I’m leaning in favor of this one, trying to do some research on it but other than stats,!not getting a lot of details. When it comes out I’m March, I’m signing up for it.
You know anything about the Johnson and Johnson vaccine components? I’m leaning in favor of this one, just want a little more detail before I punch my ticket.
Im very active and had all the SE. So it just varies from person to person. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
Got the second Pfizer shot this afternoon. Once again the system at Aqueduct was amazingly efficient - 11 minutes from when I walked in to when I got the shot (it was 15 minutes the first time around). A bonus this time was that the horses were running, so I watched the third race (3-year old fillies) while I was waiting the 15 minutes for an allergic reaction (Vallarand, with Eric Cancel aboard, won as the favorite out of the post position, paying $7.60 / $3.90 / $2.70). So far only a sore arm again, perhaps even a little less sore than the first time around.
Let us know what you feel like tomorrow, I believe the second day is when it hits you like a ton of bricks for some people. I’m holding out a little longer, hopefully till Johnson and Johnson vaccine comes around in March.
Here is what the late great Bob Murphy would call the happy recap: 25 1/2 hours later I feel fine, with nothing but a sore arm. As was true yesterday, the soreness is no worse than it was after the first shot, and might even be a little better. I'm happy to provide a positive anecdote, to go with the negative ones we've all heard.
We are. I edited Dierking's post. Let's keep this thread for info sharing and Vaccine experience. D, Start a thread in Politics forum if you want to discuss the political aspect of it.
