What wins CHAMPIONSHIPS is defense, smart play from the QB position, and a running game. When we have that, Chad will be more than capable of winning the Super Bowl.

Yes I sincerely doubt with 8 minutes left in the game & us behind by 2 TDs due to CP arm limitations we will wind up with a L not the W & that is the MAJOR question facing the CS in the off season cause if some of us see it you have to presume EM does also

Why do you assume we're always going to be behind by 2 touchdowns in the playoffs? How about building a great defense so that kind of thing doesn't happen? That is what wins. That and a running game to control the clock.

I not assuming EVERY game silly but we will be BEHIND some time during a season & that is where CP limitations will come to the for

I never said anyone anointed Chad as anything, but every week there is a new excuse from his sheep fans about why he did this wrong. This week, it's the flu.

Fact is, his phsyical limitations will screw our team over at some point this year, whether it be next week (doubtful) or in the playoffs.

Well, no matter how you feel about him, everyone should be in his corner. Because the team goes as chad goes.

I obviously root for him to do well because I want the Jets to win. I just don't want him on the team next year, and it irks me that even the Jets are making excuses for him now.

See that is where you go way off the track IMHO. We are ALL NYJ fans & we ALL want the NYJs to win which means CP doing well as well. All 117 is pointing out amongst others is CP brings certain limitations to the field which he feels need correcting in on coming off season

Salary cap. Pennington is on the team for at least 2 more years.

John Abraham gets the flu and sits his ass on the bench. Chad has the flu and goes out and fights.

That was not the scenario I said 2 TDs down with say 8:00 in the game. Vome on now stop misrepresenting what I said OK?

so those numbers ( not quite accurate) show he will be on the team the next 2 years.

I wasn't misrepresenting anything, I was giving you an example of Chad making a perfect TD strike under pressure while the pocket was collapsing when they were behind. No it wasn't a deficit of 2 TDs, but it showed me something. He can make these kind of plays when needed.

I would say without downward movement by CP that will not be the case xause with getting rid of CP cap hit as it stands now will prohibit us from making the team stronger for the CHAMPIONSHIP run
