And people wonder why Watson wants out or criticize him for wanting out. Unreal!

It's nice not to be one of the most dysfunctional franchises for a change. Houston's a mess.

I hope this mess results in Jets grabbing Watson for a decent price. :)

It's amazing how these owners get hypnotized by these morons. Easterby is especially bizarre because he's so religion driven and not football driven.

Not the first time something like this has happened. Vinny Cerrato in Washington actually get fired by the late Marty Schottenheimer in Washington and then re-hired after they fired Marty. Trent Baalke forced Harbaugh out and ran the 49ers into the ground and somehow has another GM job. Matt Millen got eight long years in Detroit.

These guys should be high end salesmen for Microsoft or Apple to corporate America or something.

Nothing bizarre about it at all to me - it's Texas, man.

Didn't MacCagnan have strong ties with the Texans? Maybe after he left there they went into a death spiral!

What if the best offer the Texans get for Watson is from the Jets, who only offered their #2 overall this year plus one of their 1st rounders next year. Take it or leave it.

McClain is saying the Texans will START at 2 #'1s (including our #2 overall !!).....2 #2's......and 2 defensive starters (Maye and Q ?).

OTOH.....they are NOT asking for MetLife Stadium. :D

I'm not giving up the whole team for Watson. He may have had a career year and his stats were skewed to garbage time this year.

If we give up the #2 overall......then no more than 2 more #1's. That's it. Or another #1 and a pair of 2's.

    Take it or leave it.

The Pats actually brought this fruitbag in to "deal with the Aaron Hernandez situation", whatever that means. It's not as if Belichick didn't know exactly what he was getting with Hernandez because he got his advance scouting reports from Urban Meyer when he spent his summers in Gainesville picking his brain about the spread.

In my experience, South Carolina is FAR worse than Texas when it comes to absolute nutjobs. Take a religious nut from SC and a rich dope from Texas and you get what’s currently happening with the Texans.

yeah but you'd think Watson would be used to that. He played under Dabo Swinney (as big of a religious nut as it gets) in Clemson, South Carolina

And in Clemson is the area I unfortunately have family (by marriage) so I can attest to how dumb everyone there is.

We're talking about Easterby fooling Cal McNair though. It's not shocking to me in any way that this happened in Texas with a born and bred, billionaire Texan.
