He's been a good coach for us and the special teams units drastically improved from the disaster it was before he got here.
The year is 2069. The northern hemisphere has become a nuclear wasteland. The latest exchange between the United States of Canada and the Sino-North Korean Dynasty has wiped out much of the New York Jets coaching staff, forcing the Jets to start over once again. Upon hiring new head coach Steve Belichick Jr., the Jets announce they will be retaining Brant Boyer as special teams coach.
Good decision by Saleh. Although, when you have a straight up BEAST like Braden Mann, it doesn't matter who his coach is. He will dominate!!!!!
Wake me up when Andre Roberts and Myers return to the unit. Until then, we got Boyer and the immortal Braxton Berrios running back KO's. Not very threatening.. Oh yeah, we don't pay Kickers or KR guys..
Paying returners is mostly a waste. There are like two good ones in the league. Sucked to see Roberts go but they get so few opportunities since the rule change that the cost doesn't justify the cost. Ballentyne was pretty good this year in his limited work. And Berrios is fine as long as he doesn't drop any balls.
5th round 6th round we gotta at least pickup a K to go into camp and push Ficken if hes still under contract
Like this solid move, Berrios and Ballantine are good returners Mann will be better next season but we need a big leg/reliable FG kicker
Roberts and Myers may have given us several more wins just from field position and kicking accuracy. I think people undervalue Special Teams. We HAD one of the top rated ST units in the league but decided it wasn't worth the cash to keep it intact.
