I thought as the season progressed our pass rush improved dramatically. I think a mid round pick is more than sufficent for now as we should invest as much on our cap space to improve the offense.
I would love to have both. Two different types. Crowder's a more natural all around receiver. However Samuel's speed and cutting are elite. He's still learning how to play the position and he's only going to be 25 next season. Gives us a playmaker who can line up all over including the backfield. We still need a true #1 though.
golladay was injured most of this year and is 3 years older. Godwin had injuries that he mostly played through and is younger. I love Kenny G but would prefer Godwin.
I’m taking golladay because he’s better at contested catches and a little more physical. Of course it doesn’t matter because we’re getting Arob
I have a hard time believing the Bears will not use the franchise tag on Robinson for 16 million. I don't know about Godwin and Golladay but I would have to think the use of the franchise tag on them would also certainly be a possibility. Of all the big name FAs Thuney and Scherff seem like the least likely to get tagged. I am skeptical that any of the big name wrs make it to FA.
I liked Fuller but he is injury prone and the one season he wasn't he was juicing, so it is a no thanks, for me.
The problem with taking all 4 of them is that would probably not leave money for Thuney or Scherff. I think adding a topnotch OG is more important than adding a CB or one-dimensional pass rusher.
