Im sure he did but he has to weight his options. he hasn't been offered the job yet. we don't know what he's thinking or what talks he has had. IDK if he does or doesn't. but we haven't made an offer yet and agents can be reach via phone so no big deal

Well we don't really know this yet as hopefully the Jets are tight-knit enough now to shut down any leaks. But my comment was that if he wants to weigh his options, then I really don't think he'd be right for my team if I were hiring.
Exactly right! I posted the same thing yesterday. What we DON"T need is another Todd Bowles making excuses for players late to or missing team meetings. Instead of reprimand/warning, Bowles mumbled some excuse for them about "Not everyone has an alarm clock." That's right, Todd, NFL players cannot afford an alarm clock. A less than "popular" coach with the players is not that bad. Packer players did not "like" Vince Lombardi, but there is a reason his name is on the super bowl trophy.

I mean I am not saying this guy was the be all end all but he was a good candidate and god knows where this coaching search ends up. Maybe Pederson or Schotty come into interview now who knows.
He has still played well in some games and let's face it he hasn't had any sort of a chance with Gase in charge. Sadly he was better under Bowles and Bates.
