Respect your opinion always RM, but Arthur Smith does nothing for me, hand off to Derrick Henry 25 times a game

I get it why guys don’t like it, I’m trying to post the top ten rushing teams in the league but I’m having a hard time with apple.

I like Smith because he uses a balanced attack, he uses the TE in his game plan, It’s not all Henry. Ryan Tanehill passed for 4000 yards, 33 TDS and 9 interceptions.

His offenses the past two years have a Red Zone conversion of 70%, I believe that’s second to the Chiefs.

Titans offense past two years are top 5 in points and yards per game.

He uses a zone blocking scheme which the oline for Jets can definitely transition to if they have to.

The top rushing teams in the league are....

Ravens, GB, Patriots, Titans, Saints, Browns, Cardinals, Rams, Vikings, Eagles.

I bet no one holds it against the Saints when Kamara is rushing for 130 yards and 6 TDS.

I know everyone wants Pat Mahomes and Andy Reid, but that’s not an achievable goal.

A balanced team is what’s needed to win consistently.

I just read something about draft pick haul for Saleh. That can’t be true, right?

There's no compensation. It's NOT a lateral move.

Lol, I know, but again what happened to earning things? I’m not anti minorities getting jobs but I despise the whole color and gender placating extreme that is taking place.

Matt, just because that's what he did in Tennessee, doesn't mean that's what he would do here. Remember that he adapted his offense to the players they had there in Tennessee and their talents. If JD and he both love Fields, the plan could be to draft him at #2, sign Thuney and Robinson in FA, draft a RB, TE, another WR, and another OG or RT, and our offense could look very different than Tennessee's. That's the beauty of a coach like Smith who doesn't have a hard and fast system that players have to fit into. He builds it around the players he has and what they do well. So our offense could feature RPOs, designed QB runs, and lots of passing.

Who said that those minority candidates/coaches DIDN'T earn their job? Perhaps they didn't get the job because the owner/GM felt more comfortable with someone whose skin was the same color. IMO it needs to still happen to level the playing field. Look at the overt racism that still exists in our society. You can bet that it's still there with owners and GMs.

Yes, it's a crooked world, but that doesn't mean you don't make a change that will make the playing field more level for minorities. If teams abuse it, the NFL will punish them. Remember also that in order to get those 3 picks those employees have to have been with the team for at least two years, so it will have cost the team salary and benefits, and giving the person some kind of meaningful work. If they don't give the person meaningful work, I'm sure that will get back to the NFL and that team will be punished or have those draft picks taken away.

In the meantime, you have helped another person up the ladder and have given them a chance and given them a decent salary and benefits. Then it's up to them to do their job well.

I agree but it’s a tough balance...I’m all for diversity and whatever else but ultimately it should be best person for the job - and that goes for everything.

There really is no easy solution because I understand it’s tougher for certain people in certain industries to get an opportunity but on the other hand it’s insulting to all involved if someone is chosen over a better candidate just because they’re different
