Rex got 100% from his players, as will Saleh. Players respond to coaches like that, and give their all. Gase and Mangini on the other hand, did not get much in return from the players. Coaches like that try demanding buy in, but never earn it. They create a contentious and ineffective environment. It will be nice to have players on board with the coaches vision again. Give me Saleh any day.
For whatever reason, I’m not thrilled by Saleh. I wanna be, but for whatever reason, he don’t do it for me. mid rather have the Tennessee guy, “Wink” or I guess bienemmy. But really none of these guys does it for me.
For some reason, I’m really sad that there hasn’t been an update (at least one posted here) about the dude hiding in the bushes.

Gase had players names on a fine board outside the locker room. He does not fit into the rex/bowles mold. And Mangini was not successful either so don't know what the point of bringing up accountability and then bringing up another failed coach. Parcells was the only coach we've had in my lifetime who held players accountable and had success. Not saying it isn't important but the Rex jets didn't fall apart due to lack of accountability. They fell apart because they got old and the new players they brought in sucked.
Dude went through all that trouble to hide in the woods to get a picture of the car rolling up to the facility but he didn’t stick it out till the end?! seriously though it’s weird to hear that someone went in for a meeting and not hear about anything even the morning after. He would assume we would have known one way or the other what went down. wouldn’t go any other way for the Jets.
Speaking of. This was shortly after midnight. That makes it at least 5 hours. Doesn’t sound like a meeting that ends with no deal but it IS the Jets.
My hope is they locked him up and are waiting til morning and that Joe D has tightened the ship to avoid leaks, but it's the Jets so I doubt that's what will really happen.
Interview continues today, more interviews with other candidates planned but none scheduled. I can’t imagine they flew a dude across the country and spent two days with him only to move on...
Sounds like a kidnapping, I’ll be shocked if Saleh is signed today. He may want to interview with other teams and see how he fits in with other organizations.
