If you’re not sure he’s a good QB you don’t draft him LOL. WR is nownmore important than any position. How did Berrios work out for us this year?
We absolutely cannot afford to trade up. You guys need to forget about trading up. That is not a way to build a team with as many holes as we have. Madden has ruined all of you who keep talking about trading up.
Two and a half months after he fractured two bones in his ankle and Saban and friends are letting him play and Kirk and Fowler are covering for them. Also shameful.
I’ve been trying to big him up on here. He’s my 3 QB ahead of Wilson. Definitely more pro ready. Thing is when you have Davonta Smith running wide open that surely makes you look good
Every player wants to play bro. If you have a concussion and want to play they don't throw you back out there. He's clearly not right, he's limping every time he comes off the field. Sometimes you gotta protect players from themselves.
IMO that would be the biggest fucking mistake Douglas could make. Darnold would play the same or worse next season, then we have no QB, and would be drafting a lot lower next year, there will be few, if any really good QBs, and we'll burn draft picks to trade up and take another Sanchez.
WR is not more important than any position lol. QB scouting is an inexact science, nobody is ever sure the prospect is going to work out unless it's Andrew Luck.
Even he didn't work out, granted that organization sucked for his whole career. If Luck was on this Colts team they'd have steam rolled the AFC.
Luck led some really bad teams to some really good seasons. I'd say he worked out as well as he could've given how badly the Colts failed him.
No we don't, not with all the holes we have. If JD doesn't like Fields, then the right move is to trade down and take Wilson or Lance.
Enjoy Justin Fields to Braxton Berrios next year then. Let me know how that goes. Maybe we can check down to Denzel Mims! For 3!!!!
I have two concerns about Wilson - and they aren't small ones - but if JD was satisfied, I'd be happy to have him. The concerns are: 1. Has not played the highest level of competition. 2. It's hard for me to judge just how strong an arm he has. It's not Allen or Mahomes level for sure, but how strong is it? He threw it 60 yards in the air and it wasn't a floater, but is that his limit? On the plus side, he reminds me a lot of Mahomes - throws accurately from different arm angles and on the run as well as in the pocket. Seems to have that innate feel for making plays like Mahomes and you can't teach that. Bottom line: It's hard to say he's a #2 pick, but I don't think he lasts to the bottom third of the first round.
Speaking of Luck, I wonder if JD called him this off-season? He might be interested in taking an absolute beating on an another bad roster.
