I agreed last week, because on that tackle it looked like he was just trying to stop Fields, but not on the one Battle just committed. It was like he gave Ruckert an uppercut, hit him in the facemask and throat. That could have broken Ruckert's neck. He didn't have to hit Ruckert high. He could have hit him in the middle. Battle deserved ejection.

He's going to want a guy who plays off of a 3-4 route tree on almost every play, passing heavily on 1st and 2nd down, in total telepathy with his WR's. He's going to want in the pocket and quick release and Hall of Fame ability to make the right throw 99% of the time.

I wish him luck with that. I suspect he will be gracefully retired in a year or two.
