Saleh is quickly becoming a top candidate for me if the college coaches are not an option, which I haven’t heard anything about so I’m assuming they are not.
The Jets and their fans remember when most of their D got injured and the back-ups came in and still dominated the Adam Gase coached Jets offense. I would be happy with this hire!
A perfect storm he took part in creating. They were a really good team w/ a MVP candidate as their QB that traded up to get Mahomes. It’s not like Mahomes fell on their lap like he was on ours.
Get me someone who can lead a team, bring energy to the team, and hold people and himself accountable. I'm tired of having two coaches on the sideline that show zero energy or passion on the field.
Silly question, any thoughts on why Pete Carmichael of the Saints isn't on the list? The Saints O has looked solid, generally, regardless of whomever QBs the team -- impressive stuff.
Don’t know him, but similarly to Reid, Sean Payton seems to be the guy that handles the play calling. Could be wrong.
The thing that is interesting is that Glenn was the anti-Revis. People for some really stupid reason liked throwing at Darrelle Revis, even after the season where Rex blitzed every other down and forced their hand. People hated throwing at Aaron Glenn. The guy on the other side always saw more work than he should have because Glenn scared people with his pick-6 potential and catchup speed.
Why the fuck?! Why the fuck!? I just keep asking myself what I see in the Jets that makes me keep coming back?!? It's not like I'm 9 years old any longer thinking these guys are superheroes. I've long since given up on them being a model franchise that wins anything more than the offseason. You got a logical answer for why anybody follows the Jets at this point? I'm stumped.
Since emotion always overrides logic, I'm afraid even if you were given a logical answer it wouldn't help.
funniest thing about this clip is when the notification pops up to tell you its the first time the Jets have been ahead in a game all season - SOJ
It was a kotitte year... maybe that play and Johnny Johnson 90 yd run highlights of that season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I still do not understand this sentiment at all. Who in the hell wants a Jerry Glanville or Rex Ryan type on the sideline? I'll take a Chuck Noll or Belichick demeanor over that 100 times out of 100.
Did anyone see that guy on WEEI claiming that Bieniemy wants to be the Jets coach and the Jets want him as well? Not too excited if true. He seems respected by players but I really think that offense is 80% Reid and Mahomes, with another 15% being how stacked they are at skill positions on offense. Granted I have no idea how accurate the report about Bieniemy/the Jets is.
Same, it's terrifying. I'm trying to convince myself it's JD playing 4D chess by leaking that because he doesn't like Bieniemy and wants some other team to panic and offer him their job. *takes off tinfoil hat*
