first of all, has he been on the sidelines this yr, or does he watch them at home. I havent seen him at all. Its going a bit under the radar, but wouldnt this week be martins final game at home. ( he wont be playing, but his last game, listed as the teams running back)

He's definitely NOT watching the games from home.

I would think there should be something. I was just thinking about him today and poking around his profile today. We won't be seeing much of Martin ever again. The guy will attend big Jets events in the future but that's about it.

They said he's gone to the home games sitting in a private box, and I guess he's been watching the away games at home.

Yea it would be nice if they did something to honor him this week.

is NOBODY else with me in hoping that he "took a year off" to fully rehab from surgery, and will run for us next year, for one final season, if we don't win the superbowl this year?!?!?!!????

    yeah I think i'm alone

It'd be nice to have him as a RB coach or something. Curtis is probably going to be very smart with his money and position himself to be in the lap of luxury from here on out with minimal work. Hell probably come out as a Scientologist.

^I think so too because with the condition in his knee its very unlikely if not impossible that he'll get better.

i've been pretty hopeful of martin coming back, especially because i feel having that kind of back for so long made me take for granted what he was to the team. but with his condition having little to no cartilage left in his knees or whatever, it doesnt seem likely. if his playing career is officialy over, i feel like it' d be a good time to honor him maybe in a pregame thing, not only for him but to motivate the team in a must win game. i think itd be a great thing to have him as a part of the coaching staff though, i've read several times how washington is constantly learning from him.

They showed him on the sidelines before the game against the bills on the jumbotron.

The Jet should stop the game right when the Raiders have some momentum and give Curtis and his Grandma some kind on honor.

i'll never forget that. i was yelling at the tv. whats his face gets 1/2 yard the jets were stopping them at that point. they roll a car onto the field all the emotion sifted from the jets to the raiders. game resumes and our momentum is gone.
