The Jets interior pass rush is so nice. A true edge rusher would feast on this defense. The Jets are near the top 10 in the league for QB pressures.
Newton hasn't had a very good season, but what's clearly evident in today's game is the opposing team's ability to scheme receivers open vs. Adam Gase's ability to scheme NO ONE open.
"D" is starting to dial up the effort, but they need to be more aware of that screen pass...they've overrun it a few times now.

They will have top 5 front if they had a legit edge rusher. Quinnen Williams and John Franklin-Myers are very good pass rushers.
So help me I see no real energy offensively as if Gase and Co has checked out, and the play calling is so fucking predictable. OL will need a major infusion next year. After watching this game so far, There is no doubt that defense will have to take a major back seat to the offense in the draft and free agency short of may be a CB or pass rusher. $$$ and draft choices need to go to rebuild this offense. QB, OL, WR, TE and one more RB
Sam needs to pass 30 times today. Mims is out now but we have no idea how bad or good he is. This coaching staff staying on may have let him down or they know he just sucks and will get them killed as he did Mimms (concussion)
QB sneak???? Darnold must have changed and called that one too. Gase loves to give it to the back set 8 yards behind the line of scrimmage in that situation.
The question is can the Jets deliver a big fat zero in the points scored column in Adam 'where football is going' Gase's final game as HC. Looking quite possible...
Just for the fun factor, it would be much more enjoyable watching Flacco come in and throwing bombs. This short passing game with Sam is hard to watch
