Just called by Adam Schechter as THE BIGGEST trade decision in the entire NFL. Either Sam or the #2 pick will be traded. So I guess the NFL consensus is we will NOT stay at #2 to take a non-QB.
It means the Jets with the HC decision and the #2 draft pick (which may go on even up to March/April) will be DOMINATING the gossip talk the next few months. Guess we'll all be DVR'ing NFL NOW and other shows on NFLN and ESPN the next few months.
This is gonna be fun! I'm excited as hell to see what JD can do with all of this capital. Money, picks, players, etc.

This will be an exciting off-season. There was another tweet this morning about there being a lot of interest in Darnold with a 2nd and late pick likely being the asking price. Fields and then still having another 1st, 2 2nds & 2 3rds would be a dream scenario.
If we trade down the other team is taking a QB and 99.9% it's Fields. So you're not getting the haul AND Fields.
