Was hoping to see Ty Johnson and Perine get some action.
I hope Ty gets 20 carries this game. I like his speed and elusiveness... Which has been missing since Leon Washington it seems like.

We can win this game and not feel guilty. So I'd like a complete game from Sam D, Mims, and Johnson. Most of all I want Gase to win, so he can LEAVE on a high note.

He received enough hate, I'm not going to pile on. But he cant be gone fast enough. Heck I will say something positive abt Gase... I've never seen so many opening drive scores from our team. Unfortunately it all goes downhill from the opening drive.

I think Perine can still make the game if tests neg before Fri, correct??

Adam’s looks to have some power behind him when he runs, won’t mind watching that.

Oh well. Let's see how he does in year 2 under a new CS.

I wonder how many other players will be ruled out.

Van Roten will be back. Andrews is out.

After 4 weeks out with ankle, Perine ran strong last Sunday against the Browns. Now it's back to Johnson and Adams. Same two guys we had going in the Raiders game and they both broke 100 yards, so Gase should have enough ground game weapons. Unless contact tracing (underway right now) wipes out the entire RB room.

Ok cool. I thought they allowed a player to get cleared if they test neg a few days before the game. I mustve gotten the different protocols mixed up.

I actually like Perine. Kid has shown me something this year. Runs hard and has heart.

In the short window I've seen Adams, he looks the best out of all these guys, reminds me of Raheem Mostert

Gase said the RB room won’t be affected by this. Moreso it was guys who had injuries.

Legit the first I’ve heard of Cam Clark was in yesterday’s presser. He may have a shot to play but it’s moreso looking like GVR if he’s healthy enough.

There's something we haven't talked about much....Gase/Jets are the only team to take covid seriously and follow covid rules 100% and keep players out of the building, other than medical issues. ZERO meetings anywhere for any group. Everything is 100% zoom, which is about 10% as effective as meeting face to face.

I wonder how much forcing everything to zoom effected our team negatively? I recall teams like the Broncos losing all their QBs and the Browns losing all their WRs due to allowing your players to meet f2f. I guess it was/is a risk. Your team will be better prepared, but risk losing an entire group of players. So, Gase might be right saying our RB room won't be affected b/c all their meetings were over zoom. So Jets following the covid rules means covid won't ravage our team, but we'll be less prepared than other teams who skirted covid rules, until covid wipes out your QB and WRs.

partially but the NFL put in tighter restrictions on meetings at the facility too for all teams. Maybe the Jets went above and beyond and did strict zoom even when it wasn’t necessary

Perine will be off this team in two years based on how this season went. Hope next year is better for him.

Not really sure. Post did article giving Gase praise for being about the only HC to restrict players from being inside the building. Maybe Gase went overboard and the team suffered due to lack of in person mtgs? If so it's on Gase.

I've always had the idea that Gase is one of those people who just doesn't like people in general. He seems to have avoided human contact, even with his own family, long before COVID reared its ugly, fuzzy, sprocketed head. COVID protocols have given him the opportunity to distance himself even further under the guise of pandemic control.
