I don't remember Foles coming out of college, so I can't compare the two or comment on him. I'll take your word on it. I agree that Rudolph probably won't drop to the 3rd round. Too many teams need QBs and he has prototypical size. Someone will take a chance on him. Late 1st - early 2nd sounds right to me.

Rudolph is The Spread "project" Mac thought he was getting with Petty in that he actually has a starter's ceiling. Petty never did.

Watched tons of Rudolph, we must stay away. He is not a leader and makes bad decisions in high stress situations. Foles is a smart football player always has been, Rudolph can’t compare in that department and that’s what separates the men from the boys.

Rudolph has some really ugly mechanics. I'd be really surprised if he ever amounts to anything

Good thing we pick #3 we only need to look at top 4 qbs. Unless we draft one in later rounds too but I would not draft another qb would rather use draft picks on other needs. If need be we look to next draft in latter rounds for back up.

I never saw Josh Allen becoming a good NFL QB. He's the first strong arm low completion percentage guy that I can recall that managed to get his completion percentage up to acceptable levels let alone where it is now.

I don't think any of the QBs taken in 2018 succeed with us. We would have ruined any of them. Allen might have had the best chance to succeed out of any of them because of his legs, but let's be honest, the way Mac handled this roster after drafting a young qb was abysmal. Follow that up by bringing in the worst HC in the NFL? Yeah, recipe for disaster.

I wanted Allen so bad and got bashed on here all the time. The kid passed the eye test for me coming out and has a huge arm with athleticism. Now he is going to torture us the same way Brady did.. unreal...

liked allen a lot. I had him rated 3rd behind sam and lamaar jackson. Everyone here gave me trash for liking him because everyone was obsessed with baker who is not a good QB

  12. Will always trust own eyes over those on TGG & social media. Theres a thing called projection that folks lose sight of.No greater case than Josh Allen & frankly Mahomes before him.

I was a huge Josh Allen fan. That deep ball is premium in the NFL.

I thought he had a high ceiling, but had a slim shot at reaching it. The Bills did a great job developing him and surrounding him with talent. We went for the splashy signings in 2019(Mosley and Bell) while they quietly revamped the OL and added 2 solid weapons.

Allen is a good example of how to groom a QB thru good coaching and roster management.

Darnold is a good example of how to ruin a promising QB prospect with shit coaching and retarded roster building.

I hate that no one will succeed with us narrative. If that’s the case, we might as skip the draft and close up shop all together.

Huh? I'm not saying that no QB will ever succeed with us. I said none of the QBs in the 2018 class would have succeeded with the talent and coaching we gave Sam.

Lamar had his entire offense designed around him in Baltimore. They ran the hell out of the ball with 3 TE sets over and over.
Allen had a very nice OL built for him in year 2 with great coaching and then added a premier WR in Diggs just last offseason.
Baker has a loaded offense all over the place and has one of the best run games in the league. Look at what happened last week vs the Jets when he was missing 2 of his starting OL and all of his weapons. They were literally the Jets on offense.
    Rosen flopped.
    And then there is Sam..

What has Adam Gase shown over the last 2 years that makes you believe any of them would have succeeded with us?
