I think it’s really about the O-line.. he’s been getting a little more time to throw.. elflein the guy We got off of waivers has really Been an upgrade on the interior of the offensive line
At this moment Darnold played solid, not a great game. Has moments when he failed to move the chains in critical part of the game. Darnold is t going anywhere. Now we’re officially out of the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes, let’s just win next week and look forward to building a decent draft for a change, get good FA acquisitions and get a new HC.
That’s not even remotely true. Outside of today, he has been a turn style along with Josh Andrews. Not that Alex Lewis is much better but there’s a reason why this guy was available.
We win next week and Gase is definitely coming back, if he didn't already secure it today Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
What??So you’re telling me in the last two games you haven’t seen improve play on the offensive line??... oh and the report I was reading was he was available because he was always hurt...
What does it matter? We are not getting the number 1 pick. So you would have been fine with a 6-10 record? Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
If Gase is brought back I will not support this team as long as he is here. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
I dunno. Here’s the thing. If Darnold and offense were explosive or in sync that’s one thing. Something to build up on. Darnold had good back to back games but nothing the instill huge confidence for next season. There s nothing special in Gase’s offense where IMO helping Darnold to make huge presence in the offense.
True, but he was fired into a starting role with very little practice. There's no doubt the run game has benefitted from him being there and pass pro has improved in the last 2 games. I'd rather keep him over Lewis at this point.
I do love how I'm reading how attractive the Jaguars job will be with a new GM and Trevor Lawrence. Yet when the Jets were in the lead for #1, the job was useless and no one would want it. The media is a fuckin joke. Sorry, a little off topic, but I had to say it
I keep defending Sam, and ive been leaning towards drafting that tackle at 2....but Sam just had 50% completion and under 200 yards....in today’s league... I was okay with his stat line vs rams #1 D, but he just doesn’t have it. Maybe we do look harder at fields and Wilson.
One can hope but Chris Johnson will bring back Gase. I can just see it. If that is the case I will not support this team as long as fucked up eyes is coaching this team. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
I agree with every point you made Gase should not be back.. there is nothing special about his offense or play calling and you guys definitely make a case about replacing Sam...but I think most of you are missing is the O-line play ! The interior offensive line ever so slightly there’s been an uptick in play
Jalen Hurts was picked when? Lets just keep the faith. Let’s not go crazy for losing Trevor Lawrence and the number one pick. Key is to get good FA and have a decent draft to build offense with whoever at QB, Darnold (part IV), a veteran or a QB picked at later rounds.
He was the culprit in 5 busted run plays vs Seattle, he has allowed 4-5 pressures a game in the last 3 games (which is awful compared to the rest of the league). The last 3 games, his pressure rate is 13.5%, which is dreadful. I know people love to grasp onto the new guy but he has been bad. There’s no sugar coating it.
