Wrll you definitely are gased and confused. Wilson looks good and has major arm talent. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
Gotta disagree here. I'm not high on Fields but he's definitely a better prospect than Darnold was coming out of college. Darnold also has 3 years of proven bad production in the NFL. We know he's a bad QB in the NFL. Wilson/Fields have their fair share of question marks but they have potential which Sam no longer has.
have you seen his awful mechanics and floaties? josh allen and sam darnold had the same awful mechanics but better arms.
- the OTs don't have to operate in a vacuum; the OL after all is a unit - as strong as its weakest link. Lewis & Van Roten blow - we all know that. - Edoga: Attention QBs: WATCH OUT!!! That man's not exactly "moving on from here" starting material. Camp/depth fodder. .
Darnold doesnt have a better arm than wilson. Darnolds arm is ok not great. Wilson has much better mechanics than both at this stage in college and honest better than Darnold now. He can throw from multiple angles, he makes tighter window throws than both fields and darnold, and has better athleticism. He can always improve but hes not nearly as bad as you see. Exactly. Not sure Zac Wilson can lead us in more ways than Darnold could next year. THe only benefit if the restart of the salary cap for the QB. But, we should find a way to sign Darnold for a cheap extension for 2+ years personally.
Yep we've been burned too much by that school. Not to mention their QBs never amount to anything in the NFL.
Becton, Fant, Rookie mid rounder (walker little in the 3rd) edoga, and mcdermott. we are fine at OT in that scenerio. no reason to use a top 2 pick on one and then switch his position or move a pro bowler from his. If we didn't have becton i'd be all for sewell but since we do it's a terrible move
I have not seen him make anywhere near the throws of darnold. darnold arm is comparable to rodgers. wilsons arm is comparable to baker
Guys i dont like: Fields- Dropbacks are lazy, stares down targets, doesnt go through progressions, most of his wow throws are when he has 10 seconds to scan the field Najee Harris-Have watched his tape repeatedly. Not saying hes a bad player but dont understand the hype at all. Rondale Moore- Not a day 1 player for me & esp for the Jets if they keep Crowder. I like the North Texas slot better & he’ll go at least a round later than Moore Wyatt Davis-Nothing stands out physically except for his lower flex. Not a physically imposing or an above average athlete as an IOL.
You misread my post. When I said OTs don't have to operate in a vacuum I meant that OTs alone don't make an elite OL. Walker Little's never recovered his pre-injury rating. Moves himself but not a mover-of-men so to speak, i.e. not on an elite level. Fant? Former b-ball player who bench pressed a 'meh' worthy 22. I like brutes & bullies. Frankly, I'm still reeling from having lost the Lawrence pick...am counting on with the Jags to show some sack or Trubisky to totally shit the bed.
Darnolds arm is comparable to Rodgers? I hope you’re trolling because that is one funny joke you have going. Darnolds arm is average at best. Why do you think he is awful at throwing the deep ball and Flacco comes in and magically this team is hitting deep balls? Btw, Baker I believe just threw a ball 70 yards in the air and there was an article saying that was the longest throw of the year.
