Crazy things can happen, Bengals with some nobody at QB beat a top team. Btw, that QB had even better game than Sam, with better passer rating plus a bunch of rushing yards and rushing TD. And next week Jags hopefully will be next to pull an upset.
The one thing that gets underrated a little is these teams like the Jets and now Jaguars, their starting QB’s are also playing for their lives with their current teams. Minshew wants to win so they don’t get Lawrence and he still has a shot to be the starter.
Minshew begged to play, he hasn't been bad. I dunno what happens here but I am glad we are no worse then #2
Bears still have slim playoff hopes, however Trubisky has a good game and then 2 bad games...Minshew can beat them, Jags must have some pride
The Jags have had 4 games this year where they lost by 3 points and another by 4 points (at Green Bay). They've been more competitive in a majority of their games than the Jets have, so winning at home against Chicago isn't out of the question. Is it likely? Hell no. But bigger upsets have happened - Steelers vs Bangles last night for example.
I was trying to figure out the scenario for that to happen, but I can't? They are always going to be playing for seeding I think.
We've gotta pray Trubisky pulls a Trubisky. Jags are extremely live there if Mitch turns it over a couple times. The Bears are primarily a running team, much like the Jags, which should hopefully keep it close at least.
Yeah the Colts aren't going to be resting their starters, that's out the window unfortunately. I still think it's a winnable game for the Jags though.
