Very rarely. That's been a trend for a while now. I think that's why the pro game has moved towards more shotgun formations.
So you guarantee me if we get Lawrence he'll match or better Josh Allen's first three seasons in Buffalo? Two playoff appearances & it looks like he has Buffalo on the verge of their first division title in 25 years today?
If the Jets surround Lawrence with good coaching and talent like Buffalo did for Allen, then yes I'll guarantee that.
I don't watch college football. I don't follow it. I don't like it. That said I do remember hearing Sam Darnold's name a good year (minimum) before the golden QB class of 2018. I remember the hype about that Qb draft class none more than Darnold. I hadn't heard Lawrence's name mentioned until during this Jets season.
Josh Allen college career: 56% completion 5066 yards 7.8 Y/A 44 TD 21 INT Trevor Lawrence: 66% completion 9376 yards 8.9 Y/A 86 TD 15 INT That's why Jets fans are lusting over him more than they were for Allen.
His alter ego goes by the name Daredevil... Of Marvel comics fame. The only blind Superhero in the history of Marvel Comics.
A lot of times with college players you can’t tell how they will develop in their first or second year unless they are exceptional. If you don’t like or watch college football, I can understand why you have never heard of TL. He has been playing at a very high level since his freshman year and has done it against really good college programs. The other knock on college QBs is the programs they come from, some conferences are weak so their QBs may excel against inferior competition making it difficult determine if their success is because of their ability or weaker competition. Some GMs have a stipulation that when they scout QBs one of the requirements is that a college QB should have no less than 3 years as a starter in college.
I like this forum a lot, been here for a while, I try not to give Jet fans too hard of a time If they are here posting and making an effort to contribute. I don’t show same benevolent behavior to posters who are fans of other teams. I hate when they come here, I wish they would stay on their forum and leave us alone. Just my opinion I respect the rules of the forum.
Hell of a run there! I'd love to know if that was an audible on his part, or he just read and reacted.
