Who were the 4 players who were taken before Lawrence? That's crazy! It will never happen, but that's a seriously great draft.
Believe it or not, it was Fields, Pewell the OT, a CB and I forgot the other player. Dante is not valid anymore he’s going back to school. I did love the draft though, I simply took what the board gave me after TL fell to 5th.
Nothing against you personally RM but this fun-to-play "draft game" is an unrealistic joke that ends up with these absurd "I WIN!! - GRADE: A!" drafts where you can trade to the point of accruing 47 picks while still being able to draft God later in the 1st round littering the board. Lawrence falls to..... #5? Like a slew of teams wouldn't be tripping over themselves trying to move up to grab Lawrence if he were still available at #2? This is Alice in Wonderland minus the psilocybin.
I agree, the moment he fell to me at 5, I knew it was ridiculously unrealistic and every player after that fell in my lap like it was Madden. I do it for fun and something to discuss on the board.
Yeah, fair point that was bumped randomly, it did make me think I had entered the wrong date on the thread tbh Not that it matters anymore, no #1 and no TL either
I would love this to happen but absolutely zero chance of it happening, I traded the 25th, 1st R2 and 2022 1st to get back in for TL WR was a disappointment but CB and the OL look good. If any team would even consider trading the #1 overall pick, the bidding would start at 5 #1 draft picks and a pair of #2's.

In this game, the Jaguars took Fields #1, so we still got Lawrence. LOL I don't think that Freiermuth, Gainwell, Newsome, or especially Toney will drop that far, but this would be an awesome draft and would go a long way in fixing our OL and our offense. 2: R1 P2 QB Trevor Lawrence - Clemson 27: R1 P27 G Wyatt Davis - Ohio State 34: R2 P2 C Creed Humphrey - Oklahoma 66: R3 P2 TE Pat Freiermuth - Penn State 90: R3 P26 RB Kenneth Gainwell - Memphis 104: R4 P2 WR Dazz Newsome - North Carolina 143: R5 P2 WR T.J. Just for giggles I decided to roll with taking Sewell #1 as if Arthur Smith is our new HC, we are going to keep Sam and try to emulate the Titans. In this draft I assumed that JD did NOT sign Thuney or an OG, but instead signed a CB and an Edge. With Sewell, Davis and Brown (along with Becton) we switch to a man power scheme and pound Harris, mixing in Johnson and Adams to keep opposing Ds off balance, and then when they (the opposing D) gets tired, we roll out Javian Hawkins who is a HR threat. I added a safety valve for Sam at TE in Long, who can also block, another big target in Collins, and another speedy WR with great experience in Amari Rodgers. I also added a CB with excellent man coverage skills in Carter. 2. New York Jets Penei Sewell OT, Oregon 26. New York Jets Wyatt Davis IOL, Ohio State 34. New York Jets Najee Harris RB, Alabama 66. New York Jets Deonte Brown IOL, Alabama 89. New York Jets Hunter Long TE, Boston College 103. New York Jets Nico Collins WR, Michigan 142. New York Jets Javian Hawkins RB, Louisville 150. New York Jets T.J. Carter CB, Memphis 193. New York Jets Amari Rodgers WR, Clemson Pat Freiermuth was already gone at #26, as was Brevin Jordan before #66.
