Relax teammates. While TL is the crown jewel in this years draft, many of the experts see Fields as a close second with the most upside and ceiling after two stellar seasons. So let us not all go into the coolaid mass suicide mode yet. We will emerge with a better option no matter what. The challenge is picking the best coach. May the NFL football God give Jax one more win as insurance.
True but the #1 pick will have an impact on our coaching search. The Jets are a pretty attractive destination with the #1 pick/Lawrence. Without them, not so much.

yah...fair enough. I will be watching the college playoffs for sure. like I said, I know my initial impression is not based on anything other than gut feel and school history. But I agree not a basis to make a final conclusion at all. I do think seeing them perform in a playoff situation does matter though....it’s a test of the mental aspect...is the moment too big? Does he hold up under pressure? Etc. it also matters because the competition is tough. So a bad playoff game or two is a bad sign in my book....but I will definitely be watching closely... way back when, I watched the Ohio St championship game that Gholston was in, and he was a total non-factor in that game. Not a peep. Right then and there i knew I wanted no part of that guy...if he can’t get up for the championship game, then he’s got no heart and I don’t want him...and at the same time, I knew right then and there that he would fall to us at 6 (?) and that we would end up taking him. ugh....
Who are they beating? Are the Patriots going to throw the game in week 17? The Jets needed to play a perfect game with Flacco at QB to beat NE and they STILL blew it. With Darnold at the helm, there is no doubt in my mind that they are going 0-16. The kid is shot.
