I’m glad I’m not the only one who is bothered when people say “I could care less” rather than “I couldn’t care less”. They’re literally saying the exact opposite of what they intend to say haha
ROFLMAO! NO politics in football threads!!!! Make your clueless political comments in the political thread or elsewhere. Keep them outta here.
You obviously don't look at facts if you believe that Trumps was a good or great President. 300,000 dead Americans and their families strongly disagree with your absurd opinion.
Posted this in another thread.. I'm not the one with my last name on that jersey. I'm not the one who owns the team. I just cheer for them. Them going 0-16 doesn't make me ashamed or embarrassed. The ones who should be embarrassed are those idiot owners who let it get to this point. 0-16 needs to happen so those two brothers can become the laughing stock at the owners meetings and maybe something will change because clearly the billboards or planes didn't do anything. F them. I've been embracing the 0-16 since October 12th when I bet them +750 to go winless. 3 more weeks and that ticket cashes. Lets go.
I'm only gonna say this once.. Politics are to be discussed in the Politics Forum only. I see it anywhere else and it's getting deleted. This is not open for debate in case some of you were wondering... Mgmt.
If it cements that Gase is worst coach in Jets history and stepping stone to competent regime, then I am more than fine with it. I hated the Kotite years, but learned that was necessary to get Parcells and 10+ years of Jets relevance and being competitive. And I have gotten a few more years on me, so I am able to put in better perspective. When younger I was crazy Jets fan, and going 0-16 would infuriate me. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've said this a million times on here but there are no moral victories in professional sports. Imagine how different the Colts history would look if they won 1 more game in '97. A prospect like Lawrence can set you up for two decades.
I'm fine going 0-16. I rarely think about Lions or Browns team other than the fact they did it. Sundays I care a little bit, but I'm in it for the long haul. Losing on Lawrence would really really really be disappointing.
wasn't me man. i was replying to other people who already started it. and i stopped but your still going. not suprised
Back To The OP.....0-16 with Trevor is LIGHT-YEAR'S better than 1-15 or 2-14 with Fields. Quick, what was the Colts record the year before Peyton arrived ? See what I mean ?
0-16 w/o Trevor would seem like a titanic waste of time. 1/15 with Zack Wilson and extra picks would make it feel slightly better.
The only team I see Trevor or his agent pushing a trade to is to Dallas. And that could BLOW UP for Dallas because the entire team likes Dak and they'll see he lost Big $$$ because of the injury and Jerry replaced him with a kid who'll cost $40 MM for 5 years.
Something tells me Trevor won't demand a trade to the team that refused to pay their franchise guy, and then the franchise guy got hurt without getting paid.
I don't think that'll enter into it at all. The team and press would be ripping Jerry, not Trevor. Best thing is to hope Dallas wins a few games and slides down the draft ranking....the further away from #1 or #2 they are, the less likely Jerry would pay the price even for Trevor Lawrence. But maybe not.....I honestly think if you asked Jerry today, he'd swap the 2021 #1's and throw in 3 and maybe 4 #1's to get a shot at TL. And maybe 1 or 2 #2's.
I'm not saying Trevor would be concerned about getting ripped. I'm saying he'd be concerned about having to negotiate a contract with Jerry Jones in a few years from now. (Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if Jones is a closet racist and that factored into his negotiations with Dak.)
