I hope you're right but man I don't see it happening. All reports indicate the Jets are still "despondent" over the Raiders loss, the travel, Seattle is good and coming off a bad loss add it all up it doesn't look good. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
4:05 game like this, in this year we are winless, is a gamecast game. Probably going to be somewhere near 35-13
Crowder active, guessing his calf is pretty good to go considering they made Vyncent Smith inactive today. Perriman, Crowder, J.Smith, Berrios and Jaleel Scott (interesting he's active over Vyncent Smith today). Clark inactive, guessing he hasn't progressed or isn't ready as the staff has hoped between Lewis being out for personal, GVR being out with injury. Andrews will start at RG, Edoga/Murray/McDermott are the backups. Bless Austin will start alongside Hall as well. Jenkins, who's been a walking medical miracle that has somehow started despite loads of physical injuries is out. Look for Huff/Luvu to play more, and also more of Zuniga as well. Ashtyn out, look for Farley to start at the other safety...Hampton is the backup safety...I do expect possibly some of Jackson/Ballentine to possibly fill in at safety to give guys a breather there. Run defense may take a hit along the boundaries between Davis/Jenkins being out.
Game thread now open. https://forums.theganggreen.com/threads/2020-nfl-season-week-14-jets-at-seahawks.94803/
No, Jets are going to kick field goals and go 1 - 4 on them. You'll just have to deal with the misery like the rest of us.
What is weird about this game (and most of our other games) is that on the first drive we always looks vaguely decent and then it is a slight steady downhill from there - then we go in at halftime and when the team comes out it is an utter disaster - I dont know what happens at half time but whatever it is it really isnt working (unless the plan is to lose in which case it is working perfectly)
No Offence but this team is much further away then Trevor Lawrence turning this shit show around, by far the worst excuse for a NFL team I've ever seen.
as was said by the commentators there is only 1 player on the Jets active roster that has ever been to a pro bowl and that is Frank Gore
No offense but if you just figured that out today than you were probably the target audience for your comment yesterday.
No one is claiming Lawrence is the only reason things can turn around. It's Lawrence paired with 10+ picks, 4 of which are in the first two rounds, and the second most cap space in the NFL. There is a lot more than just Trevor Lawrence we are all looking forward to
Spot on. Nobody claimed Lawrence is going to save this team by himself but he will be a major piece. Hopefully JD does it right this time by making sure he has top notch weapons and a sturdy line in front of him.
JD should really consider drafting a kicker with that 6th round pick or perhaps even trade down into the 7th round to do it if the situation dictates. I haven’t looked at what kickers are coming out this year but he seemed to solve the punting problem with Mann last year. I’m tired of the merry-go-round ride on this position that ultimately can decide games with one kick. Before I get a response about not enough picks available to waste on a kicker reread my last sentence above. A decent kicker drafted for once ( low round 6/7 of course ) will do a lot more good than a bench riding DB or back up TE selected at that point. Just saying ......
